Find a friend (or a stranger) to play this wonky local multiplayer game with!

Both players are pitted against each other in the gauntlet arena to see who can survive the longest.

Linked Gauntlet was created in under 48 hours for the 2021 GMTK game jam. The theme of the game jam was "Joined Together."

Notes:

I wanted to implement a co-op mode, but I ran out of time. However, you can pretend that a co-op mode exists by teaming up with the other player to see how long you can both survive the gauntlet.
If you want to use this font, it's Major Mono Display on Google Fonts.

Install instructions

Mac:

You will probably have to right-click => open, because the developer is unverified (for some reason I had to try this two times before I was able to open the app).
If you get the error 'You do not have permission to open the application "Linked Gauntlet (mac)"' then you will have to unzip the .zip file using The Unarchiver or another application other than Mac's default Archive Utility.
